~ Growing Without Roots ~

My childhood was amazing and unique. In fact, it ruined my life in many ways. I remember when I was seven, listening to the radio in my parents' room in Australia, eyes closed, lying on the rug with my head on a pillow, the sound of the branches and leaves blowing in the wind outside. I wondered, is this a dream and I am still in Australia? Will I wake up and be able to do it all differently? Or is this my life and my memories will always be an albatross around my neck?

Decade I

From birth in Houston to Boston, Normandy, Colombia, Australia, and Normandy again.

Decade II

From to Normandy to Paris, by way of Orono, Maine; summer camp in Vermont; a brief stint in Toledo, Ohio; an oil camp in Venezuela; and a couple of years in New Jersey.

Decade III

From Paris to New Jersey by way of New Jersey, and Greenwich Village in New York.

Decade IV

From Iselin, New Jersey, to Vernon, Texas, by way of Rockport, Maine.

Decade V

From Vernon, TX, to Westminster, CO.

Decade VI

From Westminster, CO, to Aberdeen, WA, going through Kalispell, Montana.

Decade VII

From Aberdeen, WA, to hell?
